Founding in Henveiru, Malé
Sosun Fihaara opened its doors as a modest general store on Moosa Ibrahim Didi Goalhi, dedicated to supplying essential food staples directly to island families.
1 - Year 1995
Direct Ceylon & Indian Import Agreements
Bypassed regional intermediaries to establish direct sourcing relationships with Ceylon spice gardens and northern Indian basmati rice mills.
2 - Year 2005
Resort Supply Logistics & Cold Storage
Invested in temperature-controlled warehousing in Malé and launched scheduled sea-freight transfers to luxury resort docks in North & South Malé Atolls.
3 - Year 2015
San Giorgio Italian Pasta Representation
Secured exclusive Maldivian distribution rights for San Giorgio 100% Italian durum wheat pasta, expanding premium European food availability.
4 - Year 2025
Sosun Culinary Test Kitchen & Digital Catalog
Inaugurated our Malé test kitchen for chef demonstrations and deployed our digital wholesale catalog across 20+ Maldivian atolls.
